Even with the interest rates climbing and a contractor delaying our ability to list by easily a month, Laura pulled it off. She sold our home. It's not a spacious place with room for a growing family, quite the opposite. It's a small, two bedroom home. This didn't deter Laura from finding a buyer, not an easy feat. We were looking to buy our first home, and despite researching all we thought we needed to know, Laura Lahti taught us better ways to look for and make offers for houses. She presented binders to us full of information from current economic stats for home buying to inspectors most reliable for evaluating a home’s worth. Giving us access to realtor websites (that actually kept up to date with homes and their statuses) helped us save time and weed out houses that weren’t really available. She went out of her way to set up private showings after normal hours so we could go after our work day and also feel more safe about covid. Despite working with other clients, Laura always found time to go over offers and submit them for us even late into the night. Even with the current high costs for houses, she still had us offer much less than the asking price and had additional work done before we signed for our home. She is also very sweet and generous, sharing pet pictures and even including a gift to our pet with our new home care package.
